The Colorado Trail meanders 470 miles through the Rocky Mountains, traversing five major river systems, seven national forests, and six wilderness areas. Join Bob and Martha Manning for slides and discussion of their month-long "slackpack" of the CT and experience the vast landscape of the Colorado Rockies. A short primer on slackpacking will also be presented. Bob and Martha are long-time residents of Burlington where he is a professor of natural resources at UVM and she is an artist.
