Vermont Outdoors Woman announces its Seventh Annual Summer Doe Camp, to be held at Jay Peak Resort, June 20-22nd.

Women 18 years and older are invited to gather together for the weekend to participate in the outdoor activities of their choice. More than 35 classes of every outdoor theme and beyond are offered for you to try. A few of the options are Firearms Safety, Fishing, Wild Edibles, Archery, Canoeing & Kayaking, Birding, Biking, Wilderness Survival, ATV Rider Course, Forest Management, Chainsaw Safety and much more.

During the day, enjoy a variety of outdoor recreation hands-on workshops with other women and spend the night socializing by the campfire. The atmosphere is friendly and non-competitive and all women, regardless of their physical condition or level of experience, are welcome.

Participants are urged to bring a craving for the outdoors, a willingness to learn and a sense of humor. Expect to meet new friends, learn new skills and gain self confidence in a stress free atmosphere.

Attendees include individuals, family groups and girl friend groups. Accommodations include, Hotel rooms for one or two, Condos for groups of four and camping or driving in is also an option.

The cost is $295 if you sign up before April 1st and $310 afterwards. Seven meals, lodging and instruction are included. Partial scholarships are available.
